Life is short, that much is obvious but what’s equally obvious is that we take this statement for granted, until the universe/force gives us a wake up call. With this in mind, live in the moment, be happy the way you know how, do what makes you happy, buy what makes you happy, eat what makes you happy, play where your happy, live where you can be happy, being around those who are happy and finally share happiness with others! ” Me

Good afternoon planet Tumblr ! I present to you milk! No this is not a joke lol! I have 5 different types of the most used milk products in this country.

So what I’m going to do is explain a few of the good and bad things about each one, so you can draw your on conclusions. Coconut, Oat and hemp milk are excluded from this episode.
First is Soy milk the use to be darling of the health industry. People ran from regular milk to soy thinking it a better alternative. Until these things were discovered. In taste its not better then none of the others but at least you can drink if you have allergies or are lactose intolerant.

Unfortunately soy can’t be digested by anybody other then Asians. They alone have the genetic equipment to utilize soy, so that means the soy sits in your body unused and ends up creating phytoestrogens which are facilitators in Breast cancer cell growth.

Next up is Almond milk. The up and coming contender, this milk has more calcium then any other milk, less fat then cow milk an is easy on the gut. The taste is great as well.

Rice milk also a contender is easy on the gut, way less fat then cow milk and has crucial vitamin E added.

Cow’s milk the former perennial champion is now on the decline. Some people(black) are lactose intolerant meaning the milk sugar lactose that’s in cow’s milk won’t be digested leaving many with digestive issues with possible severities. Also this milk creates a ton of mucus and is laced with hormones, drugs and in some cases the blood of the cow itself. This milk can pose a dangerous health risk due to shady processing procedures or inhumane i should say. Anybody particularly people with respiratory issues like asthma need to avoid this at all cost.

Last but not least is Organic Milk! This one is a tricky one why? Let’s find out! First is the milk truly organic? Beware of labels or better yet read the labels and search for the seals that certify it, also being organic might mean GMO remember these terms still have loose definitions that hasn’t properly been defined. Also what about the cow? Was she grass or grain fed? Big difference between the two. Was she allowed to roam and play or caged up? Also was she fed other cows? Cannibal cows exist do your research! Seems like the same problems exist with this like regular milk.

Well ladies and gents there you have it. The 5 brands most used and some info on them all. Make up your own mind and enjoy! :-)
